Looking down from a plane onto a ferociously burning forest fire would seemed intimidating at first, I’ll admit. I still get a rush of adrenaline before taking that leap into open space. But it turned out that that was the easy part of my newest job. Once I get to the ground, I spend all my energy to put out wild fires. I’m a smokejumper, and working here means giving 110% every day I’m on the job.
This seasonal job is very physically demanding, not to mention dangerous. Spending days at a time fighting fires in the wilderness is hard work, even with all the fitness training I went through to get here. I’ve found that, when I get the chance for it, I could really use a little extra help in the morning. That’s when on of my crew-mates mentioned the Smoke Jumper Blend. It was practically made for us!
